MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Jonathan Hughes is an American Heart Association certified BLS instructor.  After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University he chose to start a new journey in healthcare.  Jonathan went on to obtain his Master of Science in Nursing from Mount St. Joseph University.  Having previously worked in med surg and behavioral health, Jonathan currently works full time as a physical rehabilitation registered nurse and part time as a nursing school clinical instructor teaching med surg and behavioral health at the BSN level.  Having grown up in Dublin he has a passion for the Central Ohio Community and a great desire to provide a service to his community.  He believes that providing the community with high quality CPR training will save lives.  It is not enough for CPR to be focused toward the healthcare setting, which is why Ohio HeartBeat CPR focuses on the needs of the community, such as our family focused course and our childcare focused course.
